Magpul Industries manufactures weapons modification for a wide range of firearms.
They needed a Catalog that featured 74 different products and the back-story to inform customers of the bennefits.
This 100 page magalog with de-bossed cover is a fantastic and well orginized sales tool.

Designed to promote the escapades of the K2 Factory Ski Team as they traveled the world.
Below are the covers and some of my fovorite spreads from the 110 page magalogs.

I worked with the Colorado Ski Museum in Vail to create "The History of Skiing: 1820 to 1980". A member of the musuem had written and essay and acumulated 3,000 or so prints and slides... We sat down, sifted through meterial, and matched photos with sections of the story... what you see below, is the cover and 4 spreads. Printed 2 color, light blue and brown, on uncoated paper.

From 1997 to 2003 I was the Art Director for Freeze Magazine, a small rag tag bunch, lead by Mike Jaquet. Our mission was to show the world the new revolution in skiing.

Following in the footsteps of some great Art Directors (David Carson), I had the pleasure of designing 2 issues of Aspen Magazine for Janet O'Grady. Nationally published, the office is across the street from the gondola in downtown Aspen.
